A directed studio for academic course video

Licensed material in. Measured course video out.

TSES Media Factory is not a video generator. An AI production director plans each lesson as scenes, chooses the treatment the teaching needs, sends every scene to the engine that owns it — and measures the finished cut against the destination platform's specification before anything can be published.

How it works

01

Attest

A person classifies the source's rights and, only for Tier 1, clears it. Nothing moves until they do.

02

Understand

The source is transcribed and its knowledge extracted — what it actually teaches, not what it is about.

03

Architect

Knowledge becomes a course, then lessons, then scripts written for the ear rather than the page.

04

Direct

Each lesson is planned as scenes, with the treatment chosen by what the teaching needs.

05

Produce

Every scene goes to the engine that owns it. Only what is missing is rendered.

06

Measure

The finished cut is measured against its destination. Output that misses the spec cannot be published.

What the system refuses to do

Most of the engineering here is in the refusals. They are what stop an automated studio quietly producing something weaker than it promised.

I

Treat a claim as a fact

When a source publishes “CC-BY”, that is a third party's assertion about someone else's work. It is shown as a claim to verify, and it never pre-fills the licence field a person has to complete.

II

Substitute a treatment

Four treatments have no acceptable fallback. If a lesson needs a screen demonstration, a talking head is not a smaller version of that — it is a different lesson, so the scene stops and asks for a person.

III

Invent a number

A success rate with no settled runs prints an em dash, not zero. A stage that was never built reports ∅, not idle. Costs are counted in provider units, because nothing here converts them to currency.

IV

Publish unmeasured work

Delivery status is derived from measuring the file — resolution, frame rate, loudness, captions — never accepted from whatever asked for the render.
